A Story About Tubbataha Told Through Award Worthy Shots

Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the middle of the Sulu Sea in the Philippines. It spans approximately 97,030 hectares and is renowned for its pristine coral reefs, dense marine biodiversity, and being a sanctuary for both endangered and endemic species.

Through the Hiraya: Manifesting Tubbataha Project, which is co–produced by the DENR–UNDP BIOFIN and Unit 256 Ventures teams, we are able to tell and showcase the abundant life in this sanctuary, and create a platform to raise both awareness and funding for protecting eden–like places like Tubbataha.
